WHAT?!…..Healthy Garlic Breadsticks?

YUP, you heard it right! HEALTHY….okay, healthIER garlic breadsticks were on the menu tonight, along with our delicious quiche recipe.  I have to say, one of my favorite food groups is bread.  What can I say?? I’m Italian…. I. Can’t. Help. IT!  Because I seem to have a carb obsession, I’ve tried to tone it down a little by including some gluten-free recipes in our diet.  Now these are NOT regular breadsticks — without the gluten they are a little more dense and not as fluffy, but they ARE tasty! I do recommend having some dipping sauce of some kind — maybe some yummy marinara 🙂

6)  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (in my case, I ran out so I used tin foil instead) and grease well. Make a separate sheet of greased parchment paper to divide and roll out the dough

7) Begin to  divide and roll out in whatever shapes you would like 🙂  The great thing about this dough is it easily forms into different shapes, so have fun with it! I chose the basic ‘braided/twisted’ breadstick version. If the dough splits while you are shaping — DON’T PANIC — it’s like play dough so just smooth/pinch it back together 🙂
